Workplace mental health is no longer a “nice to have”, it’s a leadership capability and an organizational imperative.

Join us for a highly interactive World Café-style professional development session focused on practical, people-first approaches to mental health and psychological wellbeing in today’s workplace.

Rather than a traditional lecture, this session creates space for meaningful conversation, shared learning, and real-world ideas you can use immediately, whether you’re an HR professional, people leader, or someone shaping culture and employee experience.

Who should attend:

  • HR professionals and consultants
  • People leaders and managers
  • DEI/Wellbeing/People & Culture practitioners, as well as students in this field
  • Anyone looking to strengthen workplace support, culture, and psychological wellbeing

Planned session outcomes:

  • Practical strategies to strengthen psychological wellbeing in your organization (small actions and larger system shifts).
  • A clearer view of what’s “in your control” as HR/leadership and what requires organizational alignment.
  • Conversation frameworks and language for addressing mental health with empathy, confidence, and appropriate boundaries.
  • Peer-informed ideas for prevention, early support, and sustainable workload/culture practices.
  • A shortlist of next steps you can apply within 30 days, whether you’re building programs or improving everyday manager habits.

Format: World Café (interactive + high-engagement)

This session uses the World Café method, where participants start at a small table group, discuss a focused question, then rotate to new tables each round to build on ideas and perspectives. Each table appoints a table host who stays behind to welcome new participants and briefly summarize what was discussed before the next round begins. The process repeats for multiple rounds and closes with a whole-group reflection and share-back.

What that means for you: You’ll meet more people, hear diverse viewpoints, and co-create practical insights without the pressure of presenting or having “the right answer.”
